Shure launches complete room kits to enhance meetings

Shure has introduced new IntelliMix Room Kits that are complete Microsoft Teams Room systems, on Windows, that the company says will “transform the modern meeting experience.”

The new kits will allow easy setup and deployment in small to large meeting rooms, combining high quality audio and video performance alongside robust security and cloud management.

Each IntelliMix Room Kit is a Windows-based modular Teams Room solution, making it easier for end users to select, implement, and manage the system.

Shure offers four curated, complete room kits, allowing customers to easily select their preferred system based on room size.

These include the IntelliMix Room Kit 30 for small to medium rooms; the IntelliMix Room Kit 50 for medium to large rooms; the IntelliMix Room Kit 70 for large rooms; and the IntelliMix Room Kit 80 for reconfigurable spaces.

Shure says that setup is straightforward thanks to Zero Touch Provisioning, the audio, video, touch panel, and Windows-based compute device auto-configure out of the box.

Users can connect the components, power on and log in with a Teams Room account or use Windows Autopilot with Autologin for Teams Rooms.

The IntelliMix Room software then enhances speech and removes distracting sounds, ensuring every word is heard clearly and transcribed accurately.

Shure’s DSP comes pre-installed and pre-configured on the Teams Room compute for automatic connection to Shure’s MXA902 Ceiling Array Microphone and Loudspeaker.

The IntelliMix Room software provides greater sound quality featuring AI-enhanced, echo-free, noise-free and reverb-free meeting audio.

AI-powered Huddly video cameras feature Huddly Director and Group Framing, automatically framing participants and optimizing the video experience for visually engaging meetings.

Complementing Microsoft’s built-in security features for calls and collaboration in Teams, IntelliMix Room Kit equipment allows IT teams to monitor and manage the system remotely from anywhere via Teams Admin Center Teams Rooms Pro Management Portal, ShureCloud, and integration with enterprise IT management platforms.

Shure’s IntelliMix Room Kits will be available in spring 2025.
