Six Degrees names new CEO, who departs NTT Data acquisition

Cloud services provider Six Degrees has appointed Vince DeLuca as its CEO. He joins from MSP Sapphire Systems, where he was also CEO.

Sapphire Systems was acquired by NTT Data last November. DeLuca has also previously held senior roles at the likes of Logicalis Group, Infocrossing, and Marconi.

“Optimised cloud services, intelligence-led security, and agile connectivity between workplaces and workspaces are no longer nice-to-haves – they are essential. With our expertise in secure cloud technology and our fantastic connectivity roots, Six Degrees has every right to be the go-to digital transformation partner for UK businesses, said DeLuca.

Six Degrees is backed by private equity house Charlesbank. Charlesbank CEO Mike Choe said: “Six Degrees’ unique offering is a game-changer for any business. Now, with Vince at the helm, with his extensive experience in working with businesses to solve their digital transformation challenges, we believe they are even better placed to help customers unleash their full potential.”
