SonicWall bolsters cybersecurity portfolio with SGI buy

SonicWall has bolstered its cybersecurity capabilities by acquiring MSSP Solutions Granted (SGI), adding key services like US-based SOCaaS and MDR to its portfolio. 

This strategic move enhances SonicWall's security offerings, aligning with its outside-in approach to meet evolving cybersecurity needs. 

SonicWall President and CEO Bob VanKirk said: “IT teams have turned to MDR and other managed services to identify and triage digital threats – it’s a critical need we are now excited to offer.” 

SGI CEO Michael Crean added: “The combination of SonicWall and Solutions Granted will help partners address the demands of providing cybersecurity solutions to clients around the world.”
