AI-powered tools, expanded training, and flexible billing form the foundation of updated channel strategy
Sophos has launched a new global partner program that merges its ecosystem with that of Secureworks, following its acquisition of the cybersecurity specialist earlier this year. The revamped initiative introduces new tools, certifications, and a top-tier Titanium level to support what Sophos describes as “a more flexible and profitable path to growth” for its 25,000-plus partners.
Chris Bell, SVP Global Channel at Sophos, said that the updated program was designed to reflect how partners are reshaping their business models. “Whether partners are expanding their managed services, launching cybersecurity advisory offerings or scaling existing practices, this program is built to meet them where they are and help accelerate that journey,” he said.
The program retains the existing Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Authorized tiers but adds a Titanium tier with enhanced rebates, additional technical resources, and eligibility for strategic investments. A new points-based system is intended to give partners a clearer path to progression, while the Silver tier has been strengthened to give newer or growing partners a faster route to higher levels of engagement.
Bell confirmed that most Secureworks partners were already part of Sophos’ network, but any remaining partners are now being onboarded into the unified structure. The combined portfolio spans Sophos’ core endpoint, network, email, and cloud security offerings, alongside Secureworks’ Taegis XDR, MDR, identity threat detection and response, and next-generation SIEM tools, all integrated into the Sophos Central platform.
A series of new services has also been introduced, including free certification training, flexible billing options, and volume-based discounts. Sophos has rolled out an AI Sales Assistant, designed to provide real-time portal navigation help and sales insight, along with MDR Guided Onboarding through Sophos Academy. This will offer structured learning paths and new achievement badges to help partners develop expertise and highlight their capabilities to customers.
“These services are all new,” Bell said, “and they’re designed to improve how partners access Sophos support, deepen their technical skills, and ultimately help them win more business.” The partner portal has been enhanced with improved quoting and licence management tools, while expanded access to Partner Care, Renewals, and Customer Success teams aims to boost retention and customer outcomes.
Bell emphasised that the overhaul comes as partner-delivered services are becoming more critical to customers. He pointed to Canalys research showing that for every $1 spent on cybersecurity products, an additional $2 is invested in partner-led services. “Sophos’ new Partner Program is designed to incentivize partners to grow,” he added. “It’s about fuelling excellence for mutual customers and standing out in a crowded market with the tools and support that matter.”
