Endpoint cloud connectivity vendor Stratodesk is bolstering its channel efforts with the appointment of Ricardo Antuna as vice president of strategy and business development.
The company’s technology-agnostic OS for endpoint devices is designed to secure cloud-first or hybrid workspaces. IT teams can transform new or existing laptops, thin clients, desktop computers and hybrid devices into “secure enterprise edge” systems, the supplier says.
IT can have “complete control” of machines once they’re in the field, the firm adds.
Antuna (pictured) brings 25 years of technology leadership experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as head of alliances at Equinix and vice president of corporate development at Nexenta. Before these, he was vice president of products and alliances at virtual desktop pioneer Wyse Technology, acquired by Dell. He has also held executive roles at CA Technologies, Quest Software and Acronis.
“The old way of distributing computing power to employees is long due for a major update,” said Antuna. “With Stratodesk, your distributed workforce can use anything, even their own hardware, and be fully productive in minutes - that’s the power of Stratodesk NoTouch OS.”
The Stratodesk PLUS partner programme puts end customers in touch with validated Stratodesk NoTouch partner solutions, across security, hardware, performance, printing, analytics, peripherals, collaboration and other software applications.
