TD SYNNEX has achieved a significant sustainability milestone by powering all its UK locations with 100% renewable electricity.
This aligns with its environmental objectives, building on its prior use of 90% renewable energy at major sites like the Magna Park warehouse and offices in Basingstoke and Warrington.
Kevin Wragg, Director, Environment and Quality Compliance, TD SYNNEX said: “It’s vitally important that our industry continues to make progress in reducing its carbon impact and it is worth celebrating as every small step takes us a little bit closer to net zero.”
Alongside this, TD SYNNEX has also reduced its energy consumption, notably at its Basingstoke office, and is on track to achieve a 20% reduction this year.
Looking forward, the company plans to install electric vehicle charging points at all its UK sites by Q1 2024.
