Telefónica Tech UK&I has partnered with IBM to integrate its new QRadar Suite into security operations centre (SOC) managed services. This will enable Telefónica Tech’s SOC analyst teams to strengthen their capabilities in managed threat detection and response.
The IBM Security QRadar Suite, recently launched at the RSA Conference, will enable Telefónica Tech UK&I to leverage its endpoint detection and response (EDR)/extended detection and response (XDR), security information and event management (SIEM), and security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) capabilities, as well as a new cloud-native log management capability.
The QRadar Suite is built on an open architecture with easily integrated modules designed specifically for the demands of a hybrid cloud. It is embedded with enterprise-grade AI and automation capabilities that have been shown to speed alert investigation and triage by an average of 55% in the first year, according to internal IBM analysis.
