International managed service provider Claranet has completed two acquisitions in a week, expanding its SAP services and widening its reach in Portugal.
First, the MSP has acquired SAP consultancy firm KHETO in Germany, founded in 2005 and which has a focus on SAP Business Intelligence.
By capturing the Cologne-based company, Claranet says it is extending its portfolio to include the operation of SAP workloads in public clouds.
Olaf Fischer, managing director at Claranet Germany, said: “Combining the SAP know-how of KHETO with the experience of Claranet in the areas of cloud transformation and managed hosting also in public clouds will enable us to provide clients in Germany with optimum cloud-based support on their road from SAP R/3 to S/4HANA, and offer an extensive lifecycle service.”
Charles Nasser, founder and CEO of Claranet, added: “Working together, we will be able to strengthen our relationship with SAP and the hyperscalers and offer our customers comprehensive support for their SAP Cloud modernisation projects.”
In addition to that deal, Claranet is continuing its growth strategy in Portugal by acquiring Bizdirect.
Bizdirect is the sixth acquisition made by Claranet in Portugal since 2014 and the second largest. “The transaction means Claranet is now the largest IT service provider in Portugal and a leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner,” claimed the MSP.
António Miguel Ferreira, managing director for Claranet Portugal, Spain and Latin America, said: “This additional scale and experience increases our capability and capacity to develop solutions that will provide tremendous value to our customers.”
The values of the deals have not been disclosed by the MSP.
