US security software vendor ColorTokens has appointed the Nuvias Group as its EMEA-wide distributor, seeking to take advantage of an increase in secure remote connectivity business. The platform is designed to enable the rapid delivery of remote access without compromising security and compliance it says. In April, distributor DataSolutions signed up ColorTokens for its UK and Ireland business. Nuvias will be initially distributing ColorTokens' solutions in the Benelux and DACH regions, along with the UK, expanding to other countries in a later second phase.
The ColorTokens platform is architected to the NIST-ZTA (Zero Trust Architecture) specifications, securing workloads and end points through proactive policy-based enablement. The ZTA approach is designed to help protect business data and assets by preventing a whole range of data breaches, including phishing attacks, ransomware and zero-day attacks.
In addition to protecting enterprise data and offering end point client protection, ColorTokens says its technology enables customers to “quantify risk”. “Calculating risk exposure and the related potential cost to business enables unequivocal data points on which the enterprise can prioritise their security decisions”, the vendor said.
Ian Kilpatrick, strategic advisor for cyber security at Nuvias, said: “ColorTokens’ cloud-based solution is simple, scalable and available on demand – everything that channel partners require today. The focus for business is on making ROI-based IT investments, especially in this climate. This platform offers the visibility to do just that.”
Lee Ealey-Newman (pictured), VP for channel, EMEA at ColorTokens, said: “With Nuvias, we have a knowledgeable and business-savvy channel partner who can co-ordinate our offering across Europe, advising and assisting with training and deployment.”
He said: “We are aware businesses face a difficult choice with the range of complex cyber security options on the market and a pressing need to protect their assets. This is why the advisory role performed by Nuvias is particularly relevant at this time.”
The vendor has offices in Santa Clara, California; Reading, UK and India. This April, Cato Networks signed a pan-European distribution agreement with Nuvias for its Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform. Cato converges SD-WAN connectivity and network security into a global, cloud-native service.
