Ian Wood has transitioned from a 23-year career at Veritas to become the new Senior Sales Engineering Director at Commvault for the UK and Ireland.
Reporting to Cesar Cid de Rivera, Commvault's International VP of Sales Engineering, Wood (pictured) will focus on aiding large enterprises in data transformation and addressing data management challenges.
Cid de Rivera said: “Ian’s talent management, capacity to unlock potential from the team, and deep industry knowledge, along with his winning attitude, passion, and energy are what we need to take the UKI SE team, the rest of the International region, and the global SE organisation to the next level.”
Wood added: “I’m particularly looking forward to bridging that gap between security and data protection, and working more closely with customers and partners to realise their ambitions and reach their transformation goals.”
