Visual solutions provider ViewSonic Europe has made two new appointments to its UK-based team, naming Ian Wedgewood as strategic relationship manager and Ashley Holt as sales manager, focusing primarily on the education sector.
Wedgewood (pictured left), who has EdTech experience spanning over two decades, will help drive forward the business’s commitment to developing educational environments and building relationships to benefit global learners.
“I have built valuable relationships across the EdTech sphere over the years, and I am looking forward to bringing this expertise to my new role alongside a team and company whose ethos is similar to that of my own,” Wedgewood said. “ViewSonic Europe is committed to education technology and offering global solutions that can help to better the learning space.”
Having begun his career working for a distributor, Holt (pictured right) brings more than 10 years of experience in selling IT and AV hardware to his role as sales manager at ViewSonic Europe. As his career progressed, Holt began working with an IT/AV integrator, whereby his primary focus was AV and IT in the education sector.
“I chose ViewSonic as I feel we have what it takes to get to number 1 in the market,” said Holt. “I see a company that has the same values and goals as myself. In addition, the myViewBoard software particularly interested me and was another major factor in my decision to move to ViewSonic.”
