Unified communications services firm Wavenet has enhanced its IT managed services and cybersecurity portfolio with the acquisition of OGL Computer Support Holdings Limited.
The deal comprises the firm’s two subsidiaries, OGL Computer Support Limited, and CyberGuard Technologies Limited, an IT security firm offering managed cyber security solutions to UK businesses.
Bill Dawson, CEO of Wavenet, said: “This move brings knowledge and experience, enabling the Wavenet Group to enhance the service provided to our customers."
For Wavenet CCO Philip Grannum, the agreement aligns with the firm’s business growth strategy, which he says includes “organic growth, partnerships and product expansion”.
Paul Colwell, CTO at OGL, added: “The acquisition provides an opportunity to extend our reach into new markets and deliver our portfolio across Wavenet’s existing customer base.”
