Webhelp has also announced its plans for expansion into the South African market. The acquisition of SNT will be its second step in the acquisition market in Europe as the company bought a UK-based HEROtsc in 2013.

Webhelp has confirmed that the acquisition of SNT will be aimed at strengthening its position in the Dutch market under its own brand.

Frédéric Jousset, founder and co-chairman of Webhelp Group, says: “As a company we have seen significant growth in recent years and have expanded our operation into new territories and services. This is the latest step towards our ambition of becoming one of the largest BPO providers globally. We are very excited about joining forces with the company, its management team and employees, to expand Webhelp’s global footprint and support the company in the Dutch market with the resources available from our group organisation and investors.”

At present, Webhelp Group operates 37 contact centres in continental Europe and Africa and is backed by London and Paris based Charterhouse Capital Partners. The company hires 18,000 people.
