Westcoast has strengthened its components portfolio by acquiring full ownership of Spire Technology, a UK IT components distributor based in Dorset.
Spire will continue to operate as an independent entity within Westcoast, maintaining its current structure and management team.
Alex Tatham, Executive Director at Westcoast said: “The deal will add significantly to Westcoast’s components portfolio hence Spire will become the Group’s main components pillar.
“It will receive full access to all the customers, finance and tools that make Westcoast a strong distributor in the UK and Europe."
John Appleton, Spire CEO added: “Westcoast can only help grow our business, and in return we can bring a range of accretive components vendors to Westcoast’s significant and diverse customer base.”
