Westcon-Comstor is building on its existing distribution agreement with Libraesva by extending the agreement to enable the technology distributor to provide Libraesva’s email security services suite in the UK.
The decision to extend the distribution agreement with Libraesva further strengthens its offering to channel partners with the firm’s product suite fully aligned with its cloud-first Next Generation Solutions (NGS) strategy.
Westcon says its NGS encompasses four solutions pillars: zero trust access, IoT/OT security, next-generation SOC and secure cloud/DevOps. It claims to help partners identify the solutions best suited to them, their customers and their long-term strategies from its portfolio.
Stephen Reynolds, UK and International sales director at Libraesva, described the partnership as a “win-win” for both parties.
“Westcon-Comstor have such heritage and market maturity in the UK sector that the respect that they held in and the quality of their partners and clients is second to none,” he says. “Now Libraesva will be able to bring our award-winning suite of email security tools to that client base providing robust protection against all threats and attacks, including malware, ransomware, malicious URLs and attachments, phishing and Business Email Compromise (BEC).”
The expansion follows the success of the original agreement in Italy, both Westcon-Comstor and Libraesva said.
Antony Byford (pictured), managing director UKI at Westcon-Comstor, added: “We’ve seen good success with Libraesva in Italy, the response from our channel partners who deal in NGFW solutions, and IT support has been particularly encouraging. As we expand this relationship to the UK, we see greater potential for our channel partners to cross-sell Libraesva’s solutions to their customer base where they already provide firewall solutions and IT support.”
