Westcon-Comstor has clinched a deal with Zscaler to market and distribute its cloud-native security platform across EMEA. The deal initially covers the UK and Ireland, Germany, France and Switzerland.
The new partnership will see the Westcon Next Generation Solutions (NGS) unit add the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange to its roster of cyber security solutions.
Zscaler provides enterprise customers a next generation cyber security offering built especially for the distributed cloud environment. It reduces the attack surface by directly connecting users to applications based on a zero trust approach.
Arun Dharmalingam, vice president for EMEA and APJ alliances at Zscaler, said: “Westcon-Comstor’s wide regional reach, along with its marketing and sales support, makes it the ideal partner as we target growth across the region.”
Daniel Hurel (pictured), vice president of Westcon EMEA for cyber security and next generation solutions, said: “Zscaler is a crucial addition to our portfolio and will play a key role in helping our partners to significantly reduce the attack surface of their customers, with a true zero trust approach.”
Last month, Westcon-Comstor sealed a distribution agreement with security vendor Imperva for France, covering its complete portfolio of application, data and edge security solutions, including the Imperva Sonar Platform.
