Westcon-Comstor has sealed a distribution agreement with security vendor Imperva for France, covering its complete portfolio of application, data and edge security solutions, including the Imperva Sonar Platform.
The Sonar Platform allows organisations to prevent DDoS attacks, malicious bots, attacks on open APIs and supply chain fraud. It is also designed to eliminate the need for siloed point solutions and delivers integrated analytics while automating workflow and accelerating incident response.
“The rush to digitally transform caused by the pandemic has created gaps and security teams today lack visibility into how sensitive data is being accessed, leaving their organisations at risk,” said Gerald Delplace, area VP for EMEA South at Imperva.
“Our platform and portfolio of solutions combined with Westcon’s breadth of service and experience in France present an attractive value proposition to drive growth across the market and help organisations stop complex and automated attacks.”
Sébastien Asseman, managing director for Westcon France, added: “Imperva is a crucial addition to our Westcon next generation solutions portfolio, and will help our partners to significantly increase the resilience of their customers against cyber attacks whether they are targeted at on-premise or cloud applications.”
This March, Imperva hired Micheal McCollough as its global vice president of strategic growth. He is responsible for scaling the channel business, further developing and growing the Imperva partner ecosystem and creating new partnerships.
McCollough was previously at Akamai, where he was global vice president for channels and alliances.
