Whitehouse takes CTO role at NCSC

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has named Ollie Whitehouse its new CTO.

Beginning in October, Whitehouse (pictured) will spearhead the UK's cyber security direction.

With 27 years of experience in the field, he last served as the Group CTO at NCC Group and has had research roles at BlackBerry and Symantec.

He also advised the government in senior roles and chaired the DSIT Cyber Technology Advisory Group.

NCSC CEO, Lindy Cameron, said: “Ollie will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our mission to make the UK the safest place to live and work online at a time when the pace of technological change has never been more evident.”
