Global API Management firm Axway has appointed Yves Lajouanie as general manager of EMEA.
Lajouanie (pictured) joined the firm in 2014 as European director of channel and alliances, before being appointed as deputy general manager in 2019.
Prior to Axway, he worked at performance management software company Systar, where he held various management and executive positions in Europe and the US before being appointed executive vice president for EMEA and APAC in 2011.
In his new role, Lajouanie will be responsible for improving the company’s strategic direction, driving its growth across the region while ensuring customer satisfaction.
"For the past seven years, Yves has played a major role in the company's success,” said Patrick Donovan, CEO of Axway. “He has demonstrated his ability to manage the strategy of our European business and to lead the teams to excellent results, especially during the complex period we have just experienced."
Founded in 2000, Axway says it has helped more than 11,000 corporate clients unlock the full value of their existing digital ecosystems to create brilliant experiences, innovate new services, and reach new markets.
"We are delighted to announce his appointment as General Manager EMEA,” Donovan continued. “With his skills and qualities, Yves will be able to both maintain customers in Axway's traditional businesses and accelerate growth around the Amplify API management offering, for which we have ambitious targets.”
