Distributor TD Synnex has confirmed that CEO Richard Hume will step down on September 1, handing over the role to COO Patrick Zammit. Hume will remain on the board of directors.
Zammit, who joined the company in 2017 after Tech Data’s acquisition of Avnet Technology Solutions, has a track record in driving growth and operational excellence.
His role expanded in 2021 to include the APJ region. With a career at Avnet starting in 1993, Zammit held various management positions including Global President of the Technology Solutions division and European CFO.
