Zerto has strengthened its senior leadership team with two new appointments. The former chief information officer, Avi Raichel has been promoted to chief operating officer, while Deepak Verma has stepped up to VP of product management.
Raichel will be responsible for transforming Zerto’s strategy into execution, while also continuing to fulfil his duties as CIO, leading the IT, operations, sales operations, and cloud teams.
“I am delighted to be assuming the role of COO at a time when the business is raising the bar for the way organisations approach cloud data management and protection,” said Raichel.
“Working alongside the senior leadership team over the past four years has enabled me to build a deep understanding of our customers, partners, and the opportunities for further growth,” he added.
Verma will lead product management, be responsible for Zerto’s data protection and development strategies and also deliver Zerto for Kubernetes offering.
“Leading the Zerto product management strategy is a challenging role. I’m excited about the milestones we’ll be achieving in the months and years to come,” said Verma.
