Zscaler has strengthened its AI leadership team with two new appointments, naming Claudionor Coelho Jr. as Chief AI Officer and Mohamed Shabar as EVP for Data and AI Platforms.
Before Zscaler, Coelho advanced AI initiatives at Advantest and Palo Alto Networks, and honed ML and deep learning at Google.
Shabar, with a background in automation and cloud development, joins from Salesforce after an extensive 18-year stint at Microsoft where he contributed to platform, tool, and ecosystem development.
CTO Syam Nair said these new additions are set to "propel Zscaler's innovation engine and enable our customers to accelerate their digital transformation initiatives."
