TD SYNNEX is launching a three-day course to help partners and channel companies assess their carbon impact and strategise towards net zero carbon.
The Net Zero Academy, endorsed by IEMA and led by Arete Zero Carbon, will cover NZC basics like UK/EU policy, net zero accountability, and creating a GHG inventory, adhering to GHG protocol standards for scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
Sophia Haywood-Atkinson (pictured), Business Unit Director, services, UK, TD SYNNEX, said: “The Net Zero Academy will give channel partners a simple, quick and effective way to acquire the knowledge they need to take ownership of their responsibility to reduce their carbon emissions."
The course will offer two days of classroom sessions at TD SYNNEX’s Basingstoke offices followed by a day of remote learning and assessment.
Dr Stephen Finnegan, MD of Arete Zero Carbon, added: “The three-day course will give them the fundamental knowledge they need to make a good assessment and formulate a plan.”
Course attendees will receive support from TD SYNNEX and Arete, and obtain an IEMA Certificate upon completion.
