Wasabi Technologies has acquired Curio AI from GrayMeta, enhancing its portfolio with a smart storage solution.
This move will allow Wasabi to integrate Curio AI's technology into a new class AI-powered smart storage solution for the media and entertainment industry in spring 2024.
Wasabi CEO David Friend said: “With the acquisition of Curio AI, our customers will not only be able to store data but locate and instantly retrieve exactly what they want.”
The deal includes both its intellectual property and team, with GrayMeta's CEO Aaron Edell joining Wasabi as SVP of AI and ML.
