Cloud services and IT provider Bechtle has bolstered its presence in the Spanish market by acquiring Apple reseller iDoo Tech.
This move aligns with Bechtle’s recent expansion of its system house division in Spain, which began with the acquisition of Prosol Ingenieria and Prosol Iscat in August 2023.
Konstantin Ebert, COO, IT E-commerce, Bechtle AG, said: “With iDoo Tech, we have a great opportunity to bolster our Apple business and foster relations with one of the most important vendor partners on the Spanish market. We are also gaining a well-established team that will help us achieve our growth targets.”
With a foothold in Spain since 2001 through Bechtle direct, its e-commerce branch, the company now has about 150 employees in the region.
Under the continued leadership of MD Rafa Cayuelas, who brings 30 years of experience in Apple product sales, iDoo Tech will operate as an independent brand focusing on B2B Apple product sales, including consulting and support services.
Cayuelas added: “As a part of the Bechtle Group, we see avenues for further growth and the chance to offer our customers an even more wide-ranging portfolio.”
Bechtle Spain said it plans to consolidate its Apple-related business under iDoo Tech, aiming to enhance its service offerings and achieve Apple Authorized Enterprise Reseller status.
