Rapid7 is acquiring security startup Noetic Cyber to enhance its cyber asset attack surface management (CAASM) capabilities.
This acquisition will allow the vendor to provide more visibility into internal, external, on-premise, and cloud assets.
Rapid7 CEO Corey Thomas said: “The addition of Noetic’s solution to our platform positions Rapid7 to deliver the most productive security operations experience while making it more accessible to the teams who need it most.”
Expected to close in Rapid7’s fiscal third quarter, the deal won't significantly impact 2024 Annualised Recurring Revenue (ARR).
Upon closing, Rapid7 will offer Noetic’s capabilities to customers this summer.
