Kaseya looking for new CEO and Broadcom names channel chief

MSP software provider Kaseya is on the search for a new CEO after Fred Voccola (pictured) “stepped up” to a vice chairman role. Voccola will now focus on “long-term innovation” and “strategy”, said Kaseya, as it moves towards a planned IPO.

Voccola will help the board hire a new CEO to run day-to-day operations at Kaseya, said the company. He has been CEO for ten years, as the company grew to a $1.5 billion annual recurring revenue operation, partly through key acquisitions.

“With Kaseya coming off the strongest quarter and year in our history, now is the right time for me to step up into the role of vice chairman and hand over operating responsibilities to a new CEO,” said Voccola.

In another key exec change for the industry, Broadcom has named Brian Moats as its new senior vice president of global commercial sales and partners, which includes heading the VMware channel.

Moats was previously Broadcom’s global systems integrator and go-to-market leader.
