Big Data head at EMC EMEA joins UK business of German company
Germany-based specialist in Big Data and analytics, Exasol, has appointed a former DELL EMC head for the EMEA region, Sebastian Darrington, as its new managing director of UK&Ireland operations.
Darrington has 20 years of the experience in the industry, with his most recent role being the director of EMEA Big Data and Analytics Solutions at Dell EMC.
Prior to this, he also served as Head of the EMEA Technical Practice at Kashya, Head of Technical Strategy at storage consulting firm Source Consulting and the EMEA Technical Practice Head at VERITAS.

Exasol, which is based in Nuremberg, Germany, specialises in a development of a database for analytics and data warehousing which offers the clients a know-how and expertise in data insight and analytics.
