Brand name and expertise stays in place
German giant Bechtle AG is buying Acommit AG, a Swiss service providers for software and IT infrastructure solutions. Founded in 1983, the company is a specialist for ERP software solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics / NAV and the in-house development DIAS. Acommit employs 60 people at its sites in Horgen, Wallisellen, Lyss and Lucerne and achieved sales of around 14 million Swiss francs in the past financial year.
The IT service provider has a customer base of more than 200 medium-sized Swiss companies. The previous owners, Martin Küng, Christoph Kleiner, Erich Wieser and Robert Zanzerl remain in the company with unchanged leadership and the company name is preserved.
"With Acommit we were able to gain a very well-positioned company for Bechtle. We are pleased that we have an excellent team of specialists in the forward-looking area of Microsoft Dynamics software solutions, "says Andreas Staudigel, Division Manager Application Solutions for Bechtle AG. Acommit focuses on creating industry-specific ERP solutions, especially for retail / retail customers, and focuses primarily on digitizing business processes.
Both partners have agreed to keep silent about the purchase price.
