Bechtle direct UK has opened a new office in Manchester. The new location complements the company’s headquarters in Chippenham, south-west England, and offers plenty of space for future growth in the UK market, it says.
For over 20 years, Bechtle direct UK has been working as an IT partner for companies and public-sector customers. The previous two years have seen revenues at the IT e-commerce subsidiary nearly double to around €70m. With the opening of the office in Manchester, Bechtle direct aims to increase its proximity to its customers in the north of the country, creating further scope for workforce and business growth.
“The new offices at One Portland Street are equipped with an excellent infrastructure that fulfils all the technical and functional requirements of a modern IT workplace. Ten employees will make up the Manchester team to begin with, but the offices offer enough space for up to 36 employees and this capacity should be fully utilised within the next three years. “In Manchester we’ll be relying on the expertise and experience of both current and new employees”, says James Napp. In order to realise the target of over €110m in sales, Bechtle direct UK is focussing on employing additional experts, and also in the vocational and further training of employees in the growth areas of hybrid IT, software and the modern workplace. “The goal is to build on our unique e-commerce capabilities by connecting our expertise with deployment of future-proof IT solutions.
