Unified communications and collaboration specialist TelcoSwitch has acquired the OneVoice cloud-based hosted telephony platform from Qunifi for an undisclosed sum.
As part of the acquisition the OneVoice base of resellers will migrate to become TelcoSwitch channel partners.
It is TelcoSwitch's first technology acquisition following a £4m growth capital funding round announced earlier this month, designed to accelerate the company’s planned M&A activities, broaden its technology portfolio and grow its number of channel partners.
The Qunifi OneVoice solution is an open-source cloud telephony platform with a particular focus around hospitality and proprietary integration with Microsoft Teams. Russell Lux, CEO of TelcoSwitch, said: “This is a strategic acquisition that adds a technology footprint along with a healthy base of channel partners.
“Those partners benefit not only from our commitment to the OneVoice platform, but also gain access to the full suite of TelcoSwitch products and services, enabling them to further add value to their customers.”
Paul Landsman, CFO at TelcoSwitch, added: “The focus of securing growth funding was to aggressively scale up our recruitment efforts while acquiring solutions and companies that align with our strategy. This acquisition is one of our first steps towards that.”
Founded in 2015, TelcoSwitch delivers hosted voice, UCaaS and compliance solutions through its customisable CallSwitch hosted telephony platform - which currently supports over 60,000 daily users from anywhere in the world.
Headquartered in London, it has other offices in the UK, the US and South Africa.
