International distributor Climb Channel Solutions has been brought in by cyber security vendor Palo Alto Networks to handle both its Prisma Access and Prisma SD-WAN solutions.
The deal will extend Climb's offering in the remote and hybrid workforce space.
Prisma Access delivers a cloud security platform, protecting all application traffic so organisations can safely enable secure remote workforces. It includes firewall-as-a-service and a web gateway, among other features.
Climb was already distributing the Prisma SD-WAN connectivity platform, so now provides all the security needed to go around it as organisations widen their remote working policies.
“We view this expanded relationship as a key element to our success in 2021,” said Charles Bass, global chief marketing officer at Climb.
Tony Anderson, director for Americas distribution at Palo Alto Networks, added: “This combination will further strengthen our SASE [secure access service edge] channel ecosystem and route to market.
“We look forward to working closely with Climb and our joint partners to enable a secure digital transformation for our mutual customers.”
Climb is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed Wayside Technology Group. Last November, Climb acquired UK-headquartered Sigma Software Distribution and its sister companies as it aimed to expand its existing EMEA reach outside the US and Canada.
Last December, Climb sealed new distribution partnerships with Puppet, the DevOps infrastructure automation specialist, and SUSE for its open source solutions.
