Clearvision is plugging the IT skills gap with its Experts on Demand Atlassian Subscription Service. The monthly service provides Atlassian end users with one-on-one coaching, mentoring, optimisation and configuration, health checks, process improvements, consultant-led training sessions and Q&As with experts.
“We launched this service in response to increasing customer demand and, in a matter of weeks, we have a number of beta customers benefiting from it,” commented Gary Blower, solutions architect, Clearvision.
“Knowing that it will typically be the small-to-mid sized organisations that will utilise the service most frequently, we based it on a subscription model as the cost per hour or day is lower,” he explained.
The subscription service is based on a credit system, whereby each credit grants access to an expert for up to half a day, allowing subscribers to access experts on an ad-hoc basis.
“This enables customers to plan more effectively, as each credit grants access to a solution expert for up to half a day,” said Blower.
“Additionally, organisations can budget for this, rather than have unexpected costs at the end of the month, our fixed cost price puts them in control, and they aren’t hit with any nasty surprises,” he added.
The service is available in three packages – Starter, Annual and Enterprise – that have been designed to scale with the needs of the customer. The Starter service includes one credit per month for six months. The Annual option is designed for users with better defined needs allows two credits per month for 12 months. The Enterprise package includes unlimited monthly credits for the year.
