Infrastructure and cloud services firm Hexanet has acquired fellow French firm Soluceo to boost its national reach.
Founded in 2004, Soluceo specialises in managed data centre transformation and modernisation projects and digital workspace and hybrid cloud deployments. It is headquartered in Grenoble, with additional offices in Lyon, Annecy and Aix en Provence.
With offices in Reims (pictured), Paris, Lyon, Le Mans and Angers, Hexanet will be able to increase its presence in the south of France and strengthen its proximity to SME and mid-market customers across France as a result of the deal, said the firm.
The two entities bring together 135 employees, with combined 2020 turnover of €36.3m.
Hexanet operates four interconnected and redundant data centres with 24 points of presence, and is a subsidiary of the Isagri Group. Soluceo is a VMware, Dell Technologies, NetApp and Netwrix partner.
Lionel Marchaud, CEO of Hexanet, said: “Soluceo's excellence will be added to the catalogue of our services to complete our customer offering. From the design of solutions to the support of their projects and the hosting of their critical platforms, we can now offer our customers end-to-end digitalisation and cloud transformation.”
“The combination of our expertise, talents and values will allow us to strengthen the completeness of our offers and promote our growth on a national level, while maintaining the customer proximity that characterises us,” added Guillaume Dubois, president of Soluceo.
Following the acquisition, Dubois will take the role of marketing, innovation and partnerships director at Hexanet.
