IT solutions provider G-Core Labs has opened its first cloud location in Germany in Frankfurt am Main.
The now opened public cloud location is G-Core Labs' 16th point of presence and the first in Germany. The new location aims to help clients easily scale their IT infrastructure, speed up business development, and design and test new products quickly and with maximum protection.
According to G-Core Labs, the German servers are protected from DDoS attacks at the network protocol level and located in reliable Tier III data centres. Cloud services are powered on Intel Xeon Scalable (Ice Lake) Gen 3 processors and have a 99.95 % SLA with financial assurances.
“Our cloud is deeply integrated with our other products and services, including our international content delivery network, which encompasses all continents and was included in the Guinness Book of Records,” said Elena Simon (pictured), general manager Germany at G-Core Labs GmbH. “The G-Core Labs team has expertise in the expansion of online businesses to complicated regions: Latin America, known for its strong DDoS attacks, as well as the countries that require specified legal expertise: China and Russia. We’ll be happy to share this knowledge with clients planning to expand their business.”
The new cloud location offers services like Intel SGX, an integrated encryption technology that creates highly protected enclaves, and an AI platform that accelerates the machine learning process. All data reception and processing solutions can integrate with the platform, including Kafka, Storm, Spark, PySpark, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
The company plans to increase the number of its public cloud locations by opening more than 20 additional cloud presence points worldwide.
