Interactive video conferencing solutions provider Avocor has expanded its strategic sales team in the EMEA region, naming Carley Everton as its new business development manager.
Everton (pictured) brings over 23 years of selling experience in the IT and AV industries, and before joining Avocor, she held sales positions at Optoma, Crestron and AMX.
In her new role, Everton will be responsible for developing strategic relationships and identifying sales opportunities in the UK, mainly in the South and London, while also keeping AV and IT consultants abreast of the latest Avocor products and solutions.
Avocor claims to work in collaboration with various strategic partners to deliver its line-up of display collaboration solutions, including HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and Logitech, among others.
The appointment comes after Avocor formed a global alliance with Google to launch two new all-in-one video conferencing and digital whiteboarding devices in September: the Google Meet Series One Desk 27 and Board 65.
