A10 Networks has appointed a channels leader for Northern Europe, as it continues to build out its reach for its application security services.
Samantha Sene has joined A10 Networks as channel sales leader for the UK, Ireland and the Benelux and Nordics regions.
Prior to joining A10 Networks, she was a business unit leader at distributor Infinigate for more than four years, and prior to that a vendor sales manager at Infinigate for Dell and SecurEnvoy products for over three years.
“The A10 Networks channel programme is now firmly established and there is a lot to build upon in 2022,” said Sene. “I’m keen to grow partnerships by leading joint partner planning processes, including performance objectives, guiding our partners through critical milestones, and using my skills to build further customer success and innovation.”
The US-headquartered vendor says it has signed up 23 new partners globally in the last year and plans to further develop channel initiatives in 2022.
It currently has 110 worldwide partners, including 30 distributors that include Exertis, Ingram Micro, Netex, V-Valley, 2SB and MUK. Strategic alliance partners include Dell and Ericsson.
Chris Martin, channel sales leader for EMEA and APAC at A10 Networks, said: “We’ve seen real positive momentum in the channel in 2021 despite the pandemic. Our virtual offering has meant that we have consistently grown with no negative impact from Covid-19. But this isn’t just off the back of our offerings, it also demonstrates how important the channel is in helping customers to protect against the evolving nature of cyber attacks, by working with trusted partners.”
