European cloud and edge provider G-Core Labs has announced it is expanding its presence in Europe by opening a new cloud Points-of-Presence (PoPs) in Warsaw, Poland.
Together with the server clusters in Paris, Luxembourg, Amsterdam and Frankfurt, the firm said the new PoP makes it easier for global clients to work across the European markets.
The new PoP will offer clients virtual machines and bare metal servers powered by Intel SGX technology.
"The cloud PoP in Warsaw is an important part of G-Core Labs’ European infrastructure offering,” said Seva Vayner (pictured), director of Edge cloud stream at G-Core Labs. “Users can now launch dedicated servers and virtual machines in the region within a matter of minutes. “Our bare metal servers are particularly important for the European market and allow companies to solve not only performance issues but also data security and compliance concerns.”
It also features an AI platform that enables full-cycle machine learning of any complexity, the company said.
“We’ve combined Intel SGX encryption technology, DDoS protection and web application firewall solutions, keeping security front of mind, and also an Artificial Intelligence platform underpinned by Intel Xeon Gen 3 processors,” Vayner continued.
G-Core Labs’ public clouds are offered in over 20 cities in addition to Warsaw, including Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Singapore, Johannesburg and Santa Clara.
The firm said it plans to open over 40 new cloud PoPs worldwide.
