Nasdaq-listed Sangoma Technologies has acquired NetFortris to enhance its offering to MSPs in the cloud unified communications space.
NetFortris provides MSP solutions for end customers of all sizes and across all industries. The product line “delivers all the mission critical communications services that customers need to complement their as-a-service applications”, said Sangoma.
This includes managed network security, managed SD-WAN and managed network access and monitoring.
NetFortris currently generates annualised revenue of around $50m. Sangoma has acquired it for $68m up-front, with an additional earn-out payment of up to $12m based on its performance going forward.
“A critical part of our existing strategy, and of our competitive differentiation, involves providing customers with the widest set of cloud communications services in our industry, avoiding the need for them to buy five different services from five different vendors,” said Bill Wignall, president and CEO of Sangoma. “The acquisition of NetFortris further extends that strategy.”
The acquisition is Sangoma's eleventh in eleven years.
