UK technology vendor Daisy Group has announced the appointment of Neil Thompson as its CEO after joining the firm 12 months ago as CFO.
During that period, Thompson has been working with founder and chairman Matthew Riley to lead a strategic review to deliver Daisy’s next phase of growth.
“We’re delighted to appoint Neil as CEO as Daisy embarks on the next stage of its growth journey,” Riley said. “Having worked closely with him over the last year, Neil brings a wealth of experience across both listed and private funded businesses, driving strong growth and shareholder value.”
The IT, communications and cloud provider claims it continues to be financially strong, reporting revenues of more than £350m and an EBITDA of £70m in its last financial year.
Thompson has helped deliver transformational growth in a number of executive teams, across various industry sectors, and in both public and privately owned businesses.
“I’m thrilled to be appointed as CEO working with Matthew Riley, ARES, Oakley Capital, and everyone within the Daisy Group on its next phase of growth,” Thompson added.
