MSP Kocho, formerly TiG Data Intelligence and ThirdSpace, has opened a new office in Cardiff and plans to recruit 40 members over the next three years in the region.
The new premise, located at 2 Kingsway overlooking Cardiff Castle, adds to Kocho’s existing UK office in London, enabling the Microsoft partner to fulfill its goal of creating a cyber and identity centre of excellence for Wales.
It also increases the size of its security operations centre (SOC) and expands its team of identity specialists, the company said.
Kocho is also strengthening its relationship with the University of South Wales to help nurture the next generation of cyber security talent, particularly women who are interested in pursuing a career in technology.
Kocho CEO Des Lekerman said: "It's really exciting to unveil the new Kocho office space in the heart of Cardiff. We're an ambitious, fast-growing company that recognises the strength of tech and cyber talent available in Wales.
"We're keen on bringing additional benefits to our customers across Wales and the UK by combining our expert identity and security skills paired with cloud transformation and managed services to meet a growing and acute market need."
