Polish data backup and recovery vendor Storware has entered into a technical alliance with cloud storage player Wasabi Technologies.
Storware, combined with Wasabi’s “hot cloud storage”, will help organisations across Poland securely store their important data. Storware is an agent-less solution, providing backup and recovery services for virtual machines, applications, cloud and container environments, plus Microsoft 365.
With an “easy” management interface, users can quickly set up protection and store backups in the Wasabi cloud. They can also opt for infinite cloud storage in Wasabi, which is billed as cheaper than AWS S3, with no fees for egress or API requests.
"We're partnering with Wasabi to offer our customers a complete backup and storage solution," said Jan Sobieszczański, CEO of Storware. "Whether you require a secondary copy in the cloud, off-site disaster recovery, an easily accessible and active data archive, or long-term storage, Wasabi's price-performance ratio simplifies the decision-making process.”
"Wasabi is teaming up with Storware to deliver a comprehensive data storage solution that is both flexible and secure," added Daniel Arabié, Central Europe country manager at Wasabi Technologies. "Our cloud storage platform allows customers to store and access their data from anywhere, while Storware's data protection software ensures their data is backed up and recoverable at all times."
The alliance is targeting various industries, including healthcare, banking, finance, utilities and manufacturing.
