After acquiring Highlander Computing Solutions in January 2023, FluidOne has bought Camberley-based Project Five, advancing its plan to invest in regional IT MSPs and establish a network of branches.
This acquisition contributes to a £30m Business IT Centre for FluidOne, with 930 clients, 134 staff, and four branches managed from Sheffield.
Russell Horton, FluidOne CEO, said: “This deal builds on our strategy to create a branch network for expertly delivered IT managed services to Business customers.”
Project Five Founder Steve Coburn becomes a board consultant, while Rob Reed-Roberts and Brad Cordell continue leading Project Five teams, reporting to FluidOne's Business IT Centre MD, Steve Brown.
Coburn added: “The FluidOne portfolio will broaden the service offering to our existing customers and the acquisition offers fantastic career opportunities to the project five team.”
Post-acquisition, Horton will become Chairman of Project Five, and directors Brendan Lynch, Chris Rogers, and Roy Hastings will join the board.
