Vodafone CEO Margherita della Valle is set to join the UK Prime Minister’s new Business Council, comprising 14 leaders from diverse sectors.
The Council aims to assess the economic landscape's business impact and collaborate with the government on innovation, job creation, and productivity.
Other members include representatives from AstraZeneca, NatWest Group, BAE Systems SSE, Google Deepmind, Sainsbury’s, GSK, Aviva, Shell, Sage, Taylor Wimpey, Diageo, and Barclays.
della Valle said: “This will be an important forum to promote and support the global competitiveness of the UK.”
