Bechtle has bolstered its European footprint by purchasing Prosol Ingenieria and Prosol Iscat - two Spanish IT services providers with a combined workforce of 50 and a yearly revenue of about €15m.
The acquisition allows Bechtle to expand its portfolio to include IT services in Spain.
For Prosol's Founder and primary shareholder, Manuel Climent (pictured), the sale to Bechtle sets up his succession, but he'll remain an advisor during the integration phase.
“Our own activities tie in perfectly with Bechtle’s, spelling a great opportunity for all stakeholders,” Climent said.
The existing board members of Prosol overseeing sales, technology, and finance will keep their roles. Juan-José Moneo will spearhead the company in conjunction with his current position as the MD of Bechtle direct Spain.
“This is a new chapter for both of us,” Moneo added. “Our aim is to better serve our customers’ needs through continuous organic growth, but also further strategic acquisitions such as that of Prosol.”
Prosol will maintain its brand during integration, and later operate under the Bechtle brand. Acquisition details remain undisclosed.
