Secureworks and NCC are the latest cyber security services firms to slash jobs.
In a second round of cuts, Secureworks, which is a subsidiary of Dell Technologies, is axing 15% of its staff. In February this year, it made 9% redundant.
In a memo to staff, the company said the new cuts were designed to “help deliver profitable growth”.
US-headquartered Secureworks employed around 2,150 globally this February. Previously reported FY23 revenue was down around 13%.
In addition, UK-based NCC Group has also confirmed a second round of job cuts, having reduced its headcount by about 7% of of its 2,000 staff this February, after seeing sales jump 10% for the half-year.
The latest cuts, smaller in number, are taking place in both the UK and the US, as NCC moves some operational resources to nearshore and offshore sites.
Last week, US-based Rapid7 said it was cutting 470 employees, or 18% of its global workforce.
