Heliot Europe, the Sigfox and IoT network services operator, has appointed Gareth Mitchell as UK partner manager.
His appointment comes off the back of Heliot Europe’s acquisition of WND UK’s Sigfox 0G network operations. He will be responsible for driving growth and partnership development in the UK, collaborating with the channel to make it aware of the opportunity to profit from selling IoT connectivity and solutions.
He has been in the industry for over 20 years, with his experience spanning IoT, mobile, fixed line and unified communications. Prior to this role he held positions at WND UK covering key accounts, sales and partners. He was also previously at BT Wholesale.
Mitchell said: “I’m passionate about the potential for the channel to profit from selling IoT solutions, which comprises of consultancy, connectivity and devices, and the slick execution of technology deployments.
“I’d love to connect with potential partners who want to grow.”
