Accenture acquires Spanish cybersecurity firm Innotec Security

Accenture has enhanced its cybersecurity expertise in Spain by acquiring Madrid-based Innotec Security.

This move adds 500 specialists to Accenture's global team of 20,000 and bolsters its position as a managed security services (MSS) provider in Spain.

Innotec Security caters to Spanish firms across finance, energy, logistics, healthcare, transport, and government sectors.

Paolo Dal Cin, Global Lead of Accenture Security, said: “This acquisition will also expand our regional capabilities and resources and help us address the growing demand we’re seeing for managed security services across Europe.”

Félix Muñoz, CEO of Innotec Security said: “Becoming part of Accenture is an excellent opportunity for us to deliver even more value to our growing client base.”
