Accenture is to acquire Cirruseo, a Google Cloud service provider in France. Terms weren't disclosed and it requires consultation with works councils before completion. It would strengthen Accenture's Google Cloud experience in France and across Europe, the company says.
“The combination of Cirruseo’s mastery of Google Cloud technologies with our expertise in digital marketing, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity would enhance our ability to deliver a unique end-to-end service offering to help clients with their digital transformations," says Accenture's Olivier Girard. It follows a move on a Spanish marketing specialist the day before when Accenture Interactive acquired Spanish brand communications agency Shackleton for undisclosed terms.
Shackleton is headquartered in Madrid with offices in Barcelona and Santiago, Chile, and its 160 employees will join Accenture.
The agency's clients include Abanca, Renfe, and Uber. Shackleton has won 35 Cannes Lions.
Accenture Interactive has been bulking up its European presence with acquisitions of Germany's Kolle Rebbe, Denmark's Hjaltelin Stahl, and Storm Digital in the Netherlands.
