Alsid targets EMEA growth with Exclusive Networks, starting in France

French cybersecurity software provider Alsid has announced a partnership with Exclusive Networks to distribute its Active Directory protection system across Europe. It may be a potentially profitable market segment, as AD-protection vendor Javelin Networks was snapped up by Symantec last year soon after its EMEA launch.

In April, Alsid raised €13m in its Series A cybersecurity funding round, to continue and accelerate its growth in Europe, Asia and the US. The company was founded in 2016 and says it achieved more than 500% growth in 2018, and doubled its client portfolio which includes Orange, Airbus Helicopters, VINCI Energies, Sanofi and Sodexo Unibail-Rodamco.

Starting in France, Exclusive Networks will offer Alsid’s cloud solution which helps companies protect against attacks targeted on Active Directory (AD). As a central part of all enterprise information systems, ADs are a primary target for large-scale attacks. Alsid’s solution promises to strengthen infrastructures and detect attacks in real time, stopping them from spreading across a network.

Emmanuel Gras, CEO and co-founder of Alsid, said: "AD security is an untapped commercial opportunity for partners and resellers. This is the first time we have partnered with a global distributor, and by teaming up with Exclusive Networks we will benefit from the expertise and network of a leading player in order to better support our customers.

“This strategic partnership demonstrates our commitment to the channel and we will expand it to other countries in the near future.”

David Clarys, BU manager at Exclusive Networks France, said: “For too long, Active Directory has been a neglected yet absolutely crucial part of any cybersecurity infrastructure. Alsid therefore is the perfect fit for us as the company’s unrivalled expertise will help us solidify and expand our offering to customers.

“Alsid is a fast-growing cybersecurity company which we think will become highly successful globally over the next few years.”
